Factory reset TP link extender

Locate the pinhole on the side where the reset button is. Insert a pin then press and hold the reset button until all indicator lights turn on momentarily. The range extender should now be reset to the factory default setting.

You can try this method to Factory reset TP link extender    

Method 1:

 Directly press and hold the result button on the rear panel with a solid pin for approximately 8 to 10 seconds when the device is powered on. if you can see all the light flashing, then go off and some light goes back on slowly, that means the device has been reset successfully.                      

If you are not able to reset by this method try this another one

Method 2:

Directly press and hold the reset button on the rear panel with a solid pin for approximately 1 to 2 seconds when the device is powered on. If you can see all the lights flashing, then go off and some lights go back on slowly, that means the device has been reset successfully.

       After hard reset please check the label at the back of the unit to get the default access info and login credentials.
